It is interesting to see our sun in the different filters. They filter it through something called Angstroms (not sure what that is) but you can see the sunspots in positive and negative, red and blue. The rest of the surface is yellow and green! I wonder if they would have archives that go all the way back to 9/11? I love watching that sun of ours. The energy it puts out is spectacular! Bonnie February 13, 2016 @ 10:16 pm There were 2 x class flares the week of 9/11 and expected auroras on the morning of 9/11 keepthereason February 13, 2016 @ 8:09 am Moderate activity on the sun that day. A few years ago i tired connecting solar activity to events here but couldn’t find a link other then large sunspots correlate with large earthquakes. Heres an archive site. http://www.spaceweatherlive.com/en/archive/2001/09/11 Tim Hayes February 13, 2016 @ 3:06 am Did you ever notice that Ed Leedskalnin carved Saturn, the crescent moon, and the sun on the central pillars at Coral Castle? Seems interesting, since there’s always been a mystery surrounding how he was able to lift the huge blocks of coral that are too heavy even for modern equipment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9Pux2qllT8 Leave a Reply CancelYou must be logged in to post a comment.
